For those not on Facebook, Robin Frandsen has announced that he has put a rather good quality scan of his 2017 book Succulents of Southern Africa on Cactus Pro for anyone to download. The print run has almost sold out and because the courier costs are so high he decided to make it available to all for free. Plus an addendum for Euphorbia polygona. Donations can be made, instructions in the book.
FREE DOWNLOAD OF SUCCULENTS OF SOUTHERN AFRICA
As my many friends on Facebook will see from the new heading to the Facebook Page, Succulents of Southern Africa is now available as a completely free download as an E-Book. This Page has nearly 5000 friends and at least 30% of its friends have bought the book as a result of becoming friends.
The book is down to the last few copies and, because of the ridiculous courier costs, particularly overseas, where the cost of acquiring a copy means nearly triple the price of the book.
I have now decided to make it possible for anyone here in South Africa and the rest of the world, to have access to my book COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE WITH NO OBLIGATION.
All that is necessary is the possession of a PC or a laptop. Click on the following link and you have a beautifully produced full digital copy of the book. AS IT IS A LARGE FILE IT TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO DOWNLOAD but then save it on to your desktop and it is always available.
Please see the attached montages of some of the over 2700 photos in the book
P.S. SEE THE EUPHORBIA POLYGONA UPDATE AT THE END OF THE BOOK.
DOWNLOAD AND ENJOY
Thank you, Pattock, for alerting us all to this great news!
