Re: 2nd wave of my echinopsis hybrids
astonishing flowers.
Re: 2nd wave of my echinopsis hybrids
I was right, most of them have Wessner's numbers, no real names. I guess an era of naming echinopsis hybrids ended with Schick's. More or less. There's so many of them out there these days, it seems impossible to keep a track. Fortunately there is no copyright on them
But here are two from UK, Southfield Nurseries, their Razzle Dazzle series. They have smaller flowers so they last longer than 'a day'. If you like flowers, you should pay them a visit.

for the last two!
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs. Recently discovered gorgeous Gasteria.

I'm saving that "Anttun' for the cultivar that's so fiery orange, it emits clouds of smoke...

Wow, stunning colours.
They look to flower when their quite small plants. Is there a secret to this, apart from the usual winter rest+ regular repot + regular feed and water.
