I am afraid I deleted the PM of who recommended Paloma Park, Benalmadena (near Torremolinos) for their succulent plantings, so have forgotten who it was, but thanks since they are well worth a visit if you are in the area since they are a better display than Gibraltar Botanical Gardens for succulentophiles.
I had the chance to visit the park last week whilst I was in Spain. The plants are in very good condition with very few marks on them and a remarkable collection for a public park because there seems to be very little use of cacti for bedding out on the Costa del Sol that I have seen.

Yes not a bad trip, though the last two days up in the hills inland behind Velez Malaga where I was staying were overcast just like back in the UK, though I understand it was still sunny at the tourist beaches on the coast. A couple more shots:-
