Re: What are the chances of that....?
We once sowed some Lithops lesliei seeds and found that about a third of the seedlings had 3 leaves. We did a 2nd sowing from the same seed capsule and got a similar percentage, plus some 4 leaved ones too that time. The rest of the seeds were sent in to the forum seed pool.

This is our 'Sunstone' plant, with one flower of 'Garnet' (the red flower on the left). delosperma 096.jpg These two are from the Jewel Of The Desert range, but we've also got plants from the Suntropic, Sundella and Wheels Of Wonder ranges and eac...

Re: Avonia species ID please
Is it from JC? We bought one from him at Leeds. I think it is labelled Avonia papyracea, but it has thinner stems than the plant we had of this species before, so Stuart's suggestion might be right. Ours also had lots of plants in the pot and we've split them.

It was lovely to see you again Ralph.
Kathy thinks it is hilarious that I tell people I know you! Although after Saturday I know a few more people now.

Re: National show seller help
Thank you to everyone who bought plants from Kathy and I on Saturday. Our surname is Marshall.
It is the first time we attended a National Show and we had a fabulous time. The show was amazing and the atmosphere in the hall was fantastic.

I had forgot that other societies' speakers charge. The Alpine Society have a list of speakers and their costs on the website and they are not cheap.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to reply.

My local group of the Fuchsia society renamed to the houseplant and fuchsia society. They have meetings on all types of plants and topics but I agre...
