Well it's only 6 weeks or so away. Who's going and does anyone want a passenger or alternately a lift and share the costs.
I'll be looking at booking a Dover-Dunkirk ferry tomorrow evening. Looking at 10:00, maybe 12:00 from Dover on the 7th and return on the 14:00 from Dunkirk on the 9th.

Re: ELK
Yes suits me Bill, not much traffic about at those times, not much life for that matter!! ?54 return for 2 adults plus car.
P.S. That reminds me - had an email from Keith Larkin this morning, he's sailing from Ramsgate - Ostend via Transeuropa, might be worth checking out.

Re: ELK
Yeh I'd prefer those times but it's 7-8hr run from here to Dover a bit much after a day at work methinks, and I don't want to take Monday of work either.

Re: ELK
Would definitely love to go one day, but this year, I shall be returning from a week in Cornwall that weekend!

Re: ELK
I might be interested in a lift and share costs Bill, if we could arrange a pickup point. I haven't got accomodation arranged though. If interested PM me.

Re: ELK
Subject to confirmation I now have two passengers, might need to take the roofrack to make sure we have enough room for our purchases .
Thanks for the interest.
