Purple-flowered cactus ID, please?

Post by Mike »

Can anyone suggest a name for this one? Any suggestion as to the genus perhaps?

Thanks - Though I can't find two of those to look up in my copy of Anderson??

It is in fact a Crown Devon preserve pot, probably from the early 1950s... I'm just wondering whether anyone else on the forum collects cactus china (or other items?)?

Haha, it's great! (:D

I thought, that's funny, it looks like porcelain.. oh, wait..... :D

Now if only the flower had been pink or yellow we would have been fooled. ;)

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!
