.......so you used to have your hair long at one time Bill?
As it happens at that time my hair was much longer than that and I had a full beard, a real hairy monster, the beard went by choice, the hair by nature (:D

*sigh* Why must men cut their hair as soon as they grow up? It's not fair. :(

My biggest is a Rhododendron Curlew with yellow flowers, which is probably older than my biggest Forby.

LOL!! (:D One of our cats has a cloaking device, though. You never know where the little horror is. Unless you have left a tuna sandwich unattended for 2 milliseconds, in which case you'll know *exactly* where she is. ;)

Must have been a slow developer I was 35 when it went, only then because nature took hold and it's now considerably thinner that it was.

Damn,

I should exchange my girlfirend:-)
"Plants are not allowed in the house, you have your greenhouse."
She's already threatening to throw away the empty pots I took inside 5 days ago for cleaning.

No modelbuilding, started plants at the age of 10-12, but fairly fanatic so no time for that.

Tom, that's awful! And sweet little Mesembs too, it's not even like they are pincushions. ;)

I stayed with a friend for a couple of days recently, and it's the only home I think I have ever been in which does not have something green and living. Something felt very missing.

Julie,

We do have a couple of plants in the house, but my plants are not allowed.

Actually she's right not having my plants in the house, except for the 2 plants "I gave her as a present", ornithogalum aperatum and a haworthia bolusii.
Most plants would not survive in the house: Maarten is 16 months old and in an extreme exploration mood.
Before dinner, he was "gardening" the yucca.
He was so proud of the result.
Fortunately it is fairly robust and it will survive the root "investigation".
I better don't show Roy's pics to him...
Maybe I should get a big cactus with long thorns to learn him not to mess our plants :)

Hob, a divorce would mean a marriage first :D
Better keep things like they are.
