I think I might need a bigger greenhouse!!!!!!

Post by Bill »

As some of you know Dave Wade had to sell up his collection, well I brought his Haworthias and he also offered me his Gasterias as well all in. I thought OK a few more won't hurt (maybe 40 plants in all he didn't say).

Well Tina (bless her) volunteered to collect them for me and post them on. When she got back she went on about how many there were and said it would take her a while to sort, de-pot and pack them, these woman exaggerate don't they, err no I have unpacked 80 plants this evening, sorry Tina I honestly didn't know there were that many plants ::o
Thank goodness most are only quite small.

Hi Bill,

I navigated Tina to Dave's place - only took one slight detour, and I carried your plants down to her car, so I'll be sending the consultancy bill in for that.:)

Hi Bill

When I volunteered it was a few plants !!, when I collected them it was 2 boxes & then he filled a third::o.

Well I certainly needed a bigger car !, it was full but whats upsetting me is I had to leave two agaves behind & I still want them !:S, anyone going to the cactus mart going past 'Newcastle under lyme' and have a little space in there car ??

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!
