Hi Aloenut,
I think that Ian was spot-on when he guessed that the plant was a Pelargonium of some sort.
I'm pretty sure that it is Pelargonium karooicum. It's not particularly succulent, and isn't seen too commonly in collections, but a friend of mine who is nuts over Peli's grows this species.

The photo of Pel karooicum does look like the plant in my photo.
