eBay is a great place to find a very reasonably priced greenhouse. A few things to consider before bidding. I picked up an 8x16 near Oban and it took a whole day with 3 of us working non stop to dismantle and transfer to a hire van. Make sure you get some help and remember the power drills and screwwdrivers. If you're unsure of how to put the thing back together, make sure you take a digital camera to take shots of joints, fitting etc. This is especially important if it comes with a partition. If like the first one shown on this posting, it's a Robinsons, e-mail the manufacturer for a set of plans which most will do free of charge.

If you have been to a Robinson's outlet recently, you will realise how much they cost so compare this to the 2nd hand market and get the biggest possible.

All common sense but always worth remembering these things when your heart is demanding you press the BID NOW button.

I think you'd need an army to dismantle the 105ft x 105 ft one!! But at least the buyer has until 1st July to do it!

A whole day Ewan, I did a an 8 x 12 on my own in less than 2.5 hrs ;)

Well I have the space, probably could pay for it, and would love to have it but the sheer logistics of dismantling and transporting something that big and reassembling would be a nightmare.

It took me about that long just to get the glass out! What did you use, a hammer? Eden seem to manufacture their greenhouses to pretty fine tolerances and a W clip fitted into the tiny space left between the glass and the frame is tricky to shift :X

Oh and finding the corner posts set into concrete slowed me up a little, but didn't stop me completely!
