This was tiny when I bought it, and it just keeps growing. I'd be grateful for an ID.

Many thanks in advance

It's an Opuntia of some sort, but it and the other cacti need a lot more light.

Thank you for your message. I know you are right about light, but this is the best I can manage. It is in a caravan often left unoccpied for weeks at a time, so I try to grow plants which can be left. How might I narrow the ID down to species?

The large plant is Opuntia monacantha fma. variegata .
Which would be more variegated if it got more light.
The plant at the back next to it with the golden spines looks like Eriocephala ( Notocactus ) leninghausii.
The others are too small and elongated because of poor light to name at this time.

Thank you for your message. I'm beginning to feel badly about keeping them if they're starved of light, but I really have nowhere better.

Try right next to the window as now they seem to be standing in the middle of the room, or maybe even outdoor in summer?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll see what I can do.

If you can move it over to the window, I know caravans don't often have wide window ledges you could try standing a mirror or even a sheet of mirror acrylic behind it. This would help you maximise the light.
It might be a suitable arrangement when you are not occupying the caravan.

Good ideas. I'll give it a try. If it works I'll send another photo.
