Well my little strombocactus disciformis finally need a repot, I've been putting this off as the smallest pots will be too big for them & they seem to like communal growing & laziness on my part, water one tray or dozens of pots .
Seeds sown 7/2020 so s l o w and still living in an open baggie

Re: tight fit strombocactus
Put half a dozen or so in each small(est) pot and they will grow on well until the next time....

Hi Tina,
Well done Tina, they look super, well grown. It looks like you could keep them where they are for sometime yet! But sooner or later you've got to do it. I've never tried growing anything as tricky as this, perhaps I sould try!!
Best wishes,
Mel.

Thanks, just the baggy method for 2 years, I'm quite lazy and they seemed to like the constant climate.

Re: tight fit strombocactus
They don't look overcrowded to me. I'd probably leave them another year. Strombocactus seem to really hate transplanting. No matter how careful I am, I always seem to lose some.
