That came from Kew Ralph so good provenance although Kew aren’t always right.

There is quite a lot of variation amongst local clones.
Here is one of mine - the same plant, front and back of the pot, showing adult rosettes and juvenile distichous plantlets.
I think this will revert to species level when EvJ's updated book is eventually published.

Heres two to mull over/comment on.
Plant on the left was obtained by me from Torsten and Irmi Dedow (Germany- Ingo Bruers friends) Collected material by Ernst van Jaarsveld from Pluto's Vale, South Africa.
The one on the right I got last week from my rescue mission at Whitestone. Information with the plant says it was seed grown by RM in 1995 using seed direct from Ernst Van Jaarsveld. Both plants Gasteria bicolor var liliputana.

It looks like there's more than one thing in the right hand pot, Ernie.

I wonder if that is variability in the original seedlings, or whether Roy's original plant(s) produced seed with the help of a nearby Gasteria, and some of the plants are a second generation of seedlings?

I think the RM will be Robert Maijer of the Netherlands. Roy got material from him - I bought Echeveria secunda RM 131 and Trdescantia wrightii RM 158 from Roy.
