Meet and Greet

Post by ralphrmartin »

Was at the BCSS National Show today, and it was great to say hello to so many people from the forum - in several cases, it was the first time for me to see what you look like!

Yes, good to meet you Ralph, it was a great day and I spent a lot of time chatting, sometimes to people I had only just met! I wished I could have identified more forum members.

There were a lot of people at the National I vaguely recognised but couldn't put a name to! Much as I hate name badges, they would really have helped as a memory refresher.

At entrance one's either given a badge by a member of personnel, or not!

Ralph, the job was easier for me, I saw your online talk some time ago. Was a pleasure to, unfortunately only briefly, talk in person, and a surprise I didn't take any of your plants home!

Also, Tina, thank you for the E. symmetrica seedlings!

Speaking of 'meet and greet' when I arrived I just walked in and was not challenged for a ticket or payment. I looked around and there didn't seem to be anyone checking how many were entering and who had payed what and when. I would presume from a safety point that would be essential.
