Plant acquired as G. maculata many years ago.
Should I change the label to acinacifolia, croucheri or maybe G.excelsa?
Plant diameter is around 60 cm.

Re: Gasteria maculata ?
I'm not sure if I've seen a white-flowered gasteria before though in theory any plant can produce a white flower. Any thoughts on this one Tony?

I’m attaching another image of flowers closer to the top. The white colour could be misleading

Re: Gasteria maculata ?
Your original name is fine, indeed it is an old plant of
G. maculata. We would call it these days
G. bicolor var. bicolor, soon to be replaced probably (in Ernst's new book) by the older name
G. obliqua.
I have some clones of bicolor which give very pale flowers in poor light.

Re: Gasteria maculata ?
The flowers look like bicolor but the lack of typical G. bicolor stem and rosette size made me always think that this is rather acinacifolia or croucheri.
I am changing the label to G.bicolor then. Thank you, Tony.
