Slightly lopsided Mammillaria

Mammillaria perbella. It has had two heads for over ten years, made a start on dividing again a few years ago, but never really got very far. Now it is stuck with almost three heads. Maybe it is starting on four? That would make a much better-looking plant.

The left hand head definitely looks like it is dividing too - it's just a bit behind...

It has been "starting" for years, never really divides. This is how it should be done.

My one makes slow but steady progress (apart from when it got into a fight with RSM a few years back). I guess their growth varies amongst individuals, much like everything else
