Some great photos here! I bought a mature p.tuberosus from ebay a couple of years ago. Unfortunately the plant arrived broken at what would be ground level.

The 'top half' flowered that year but hasn't since.

The 'bottom half' has since regrown 8-10 shoots 1-2 inches long but now appears to be struggling a bit unfortunately!
Growing in Nottingham for the past 4 years and recently found my way to a Nottingham branch meeting. A few plants on a windowsill has very quickly turned into a greenhouse full!

Attempting to grow a range of turbinicarpus, coryphantha, escobaria and several other cactus genera. Tylecodons, pelargoniums and conophytums keep me occupied in the winter and an ever expanding number of gasteria live under the bench.

I feel there are some clones that don’t flower…. I’ve got a tuberosus that’s over 30 years old and it’s never flowered. I’ve tried pruning, leaving long, early water etc. No joy. It grows along side kuntzei plants that bloom every year…. I don’t get it.
