Hi I’m Trev, a new member of the Macclesfield and east Cheshire branch. Only been collecting for a couple of years but pretty much obsessed.
Currently limited to a couple of sunny windowsills but already planning a larger space outside.
My wish list cactus that so far seems to be very elusive is a stenocereus beneckei
Hope you’re all well and excited about the growing season

Re: Hello from congleton!
Hi Trev
Welcome to the forum.
Not been to "bear town" or "treacle town" for a few years. I used to work not far from there, and have many friends who live in Congleton.
You will find the obsession never diminishes. I've been collecting since I moved to Leeds a few years ago.
This forum is populated by similar obsessed persons .... and they are always prepared to advise.

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs. Recently discovered gorgeous Gasteria.
