March 2022 - On the potting bench

I am assuming this is the month many of us start spending time potting, sowing and propagating. So for this month, please show us what you have on your potting bench this very early spring: that big plant you finally decided to repot, the tangle of seedlings before (and/or after) it gets lined out in a new tray. Big roots, a favourite tool, a plant chopped up for cuttings... something interesting or impressive or ambitious.

When you only have a spare room & don't have a potting bench you have to improvise Image

I don't have a spare room and lost my dedicated potting area during building of extension. Still not got a permanent solution so for now I can do some re-potting using this setup in the dinning room. The astrophytum in the orange ceramic pot came from Sainsbury's this morning (went to pick up from Argos and happened to pass a little display of plants) it is about to get a bigger pot and some John Innes with added Tesco cat litter and flint grit

Not so much the potting bench, more the clean area.

Hi Terry, looks like you need to set your machine's margins to chain print to save on some label wastage! Glad I'm not the only one manually typing in on one of these!
