Hello Everyone,
I'm pretty new to calling this a hobby. It kicked off Februaryish when I bought an Opuntia Ficus Indica pad on Ebay. My wife is Mexican/ American and they eat these Opuntias calling them Nopales. However, I reckon I'm still a few years off having enough to make a couple of tacos!
After that I rescued a San Pedro that'd been at my Mum's for decades. It was in bad shape and is now 12 cacti in the form of cuttings. Since then I've been filling up all the sunny spots along our windows with cacti.
I look forward to learning a lot from this forum and hopefully one day contributing!

Welcome to the forum
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs. Recently discovered gorgeous Gasteria.

Welcome to the Forum mooglus, I’m sure you will find plenty to interest you here, and help when needed. It’s also worth going along to your local branch meetings, where you will hear some good talks and have the chance to acquire even more plants! Enjoy!
