# Cacti at the Castle #
Lullingstone Mexican Weekend -25 /26 September 2021
Firstly a massive vote of thanks to Tom Hart Dyke and family for inviting the BCSS back to Lullingstone Castle. Hopefully # Cacti at the Castle # can follow in the success of Cactus World Live. This event will run in conjunction with the Lullingstone Mexican Weekend on the 25 / 26 September .
#Cacti at the Castle # will consist of sales from the trade and private individuals. Branch/club promotional stands etc. An Auction will take place on one or both days -£1 LOTTING FEE per item +10% SELLER COMMISSION - Reserves welcome but no lotting fee refund in the case of unsolds. Cacti / Succulents / Books / anything related to the hobby. The auction will be limited to 100 lots per day – Maximum of 5 lots per person on each day, more if we need to make the numbers up. Just turn up and bring your lots to the auction stand when you arrive. Lotting is up till 12.30 .Auction starts at 1pm approx. Payment in CASH ONLY after each lot. All lots accepted at auctioneers discretion .

I don't think there's any tickets, just turn up and pay at the entrance, I'm sure Dave will tell me if I'm wrong about this.

Firstly i like to say sorry i haven't posted any news about Cacti at the Castle for a while, mainly because i didn't want to push this event until Cactus World Live was over.
To address concerns over entry ,it's pay on arrival BCSS members £5. As this is an outside event there will be no restrictions in place at this time unless anything changes with the virus.
I hope to list a full list of traders tonight

Fiona Wemyns (Plant sales and Artistic bowl gardens) Amazing what she does with plants. Very eye pleasing stall.
Craig Barber -Williams Cactus (An assortment of own grown and imported plants) Enthusiastic grower of many interesting and rare plants
Costas Papthanasiou (Plant sales,mostly own grown)Good quality and vaired range of plants
Eric Ellis - (Own propagations) Eric always brings a good selection of plants at reasonable prices.
Mike Partridge - Bromley BCSS ( Tephros and succulents) Mike Partridge is on of the top growers of small opuntias in the country, who know what gems will be on offer. Mike will also be offering plants from the late Alain Sutton's collection -Cono's and Lithops
Craig Thompson - Xerofolia ( Own propagations) Craig offers a marvellous and varied cross section of plants.
Graham Charles - Gymno's, Matucana's, etc -Normally all with data .Very good plants and reasonably priced.
Ian Woolnough - Everything cacti from this well travelled expert grower.
Stuart Worth - Mainly succulents ,specialising in Hoya's and exotics.
