Some lovely entries so far, but a few more would be nice. Don't forget that spines can be very colourful, here's my Ferocactus pilosus today

You should have sprayed the spines with some water first to secure the win!

Superb picture of a superb plant.
I know it's not the right place for the question ..... but is the lens coupled directly or with an adaptor to that camera body?
