Tephrocactus mandragora minuta

Post by Cidermanrolls »

The weather is not great atthe moment, but this tiny gem keeps trying...
I've had this a few years and it's never looked super healthy. This is the first time it has flowered.
That's a 6cm pot - it really does live up to the name "minuta" in my collection.

I do like mandragora but have to say the flower colour is somewhat odd.

This species has now been moved to Maihueniopsis and is called M. minuta. and the flower is perfect for that species.
M. minuta always looks like it is about to die, the form mandragora is much more green and alive looking.
