I don't grow many opuntioids, but I have a few of the less vicious ones, and very pleased to see some flowers open this week.
Tephrocactus geometricus ( spineless form) with enormous flower:
Puna clavaroides - I don't remember this flowering before, but may be wrong:
Puna bonnieae DJF319 clone 4:
Truly lovely flowers!
A few flowers today.

Especially nice to see the clavarioides, Diane. Quite a few of my opuntioids have flowered or will flower this year (several for the first time), but I've never had that one in flower.

Re: A few flowers today.
Such glorious flowers! I hope you don't mind me adding a few, Diane...
Here is a form of Maihueniopsis hickenii. It is one of my favourite plants, always flowering well
This is also a form of M. hickenii, it is rather more viciously spined.
Then, a form of M. ovata (I think - it came without a label, unloved and with few live segments).
