My first offering is Monanthes polyphylla, this is it this year.
However, this is it last year when it flowered
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

I can call it a Mediolobivia if I want to.
Mediolobivia pectinata var. atrovirens or Rebutia pygmaea or whatever it is called these days.

Hi Rod, only 10 days gone with this months comp. and it looks as if you are going to have a headache deciding the winner. The standard is awesome, I cannot compete with my little point and shoot camera. Ha Ha. PS will give it a go though. Cheers

I will start by pulling the old Mediolobivia trick as well :
always partial to bicoloured flowers, especially on a very spiny plant like this one : I don't grow Mammillarias as a rule but always find bench space for this little beauty : will close my contribution with 3 nice Matucanas :
