Yellow and summer instantly translate into Notocactus in my head. I call this P. selowii but I can't be sure, as this is a plant bought on a supermarket.

i suddenly remembered my Parodia, so here it is. if anyone can supply the complete name I would be very grateful.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

It could be helpful identifying the Parodia /Notocactus with a sideways view, Liz.
