June 2011 Photo Competition - Symmetry
Having looked at the entries in the months before I joined the forum I have seen some pictures that would be excellent for this subject so perhaps a new rule - pictures must not have been entered in previous competitions

Re: June 2011 Photo Competition - Symmetry
As I will be judging these are not entries but do show my interpretation of symmetry. All pictures taken today using the standard "kit" lens that came with my now rather out of date Canon 450D.
And now that I have seen the pictures on the big screen perhaps I had better go back and remove some cobwebs..............

I like symmetry, it's very satisfying, so here are two I took today.
This one is someone's reject and I think it is a Parodia. Whatever it is, it has grown like fury this year and has been very satisfying to see.
The broadband went haywire and I have no idea why I got two pictures the same, sorry.
It's very ancient and has never flowered before, I must have done something right! It is always wonderfully symmetricalThis one is someone's reject and I think it is a Parodia. Whatever it is, it has grown like fury this year and has been very satisfying to see.

Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

Interested in cacti (particularly Echinopsis, Rebutia, Sulcorebutia, Lobivia, Gymnos and Chamaelobivia), Stapeliads, Sempervivums, and anything else that takes my fancy.
