If I look at the pictures of my Stapeliads book, I would say this is Larryleachia picta.

Amazing plant, Tina! I would love to enter this but my Echeveria are sitting there in tight bud as it pours with rain, refusing to open.....

Re: February 2011 photo competition
Hi Hob or anyone else out there. When we will get the result on February, so that we can get the next subject for March? I did not have much flowering in February but I'm sure I can find something for this month.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.
Re: February 2011 photo competition
Chased hi up Liz, I'll give him a few days and if no response will judge it myself.

Re: February 2011 photo competition
Congratulations, Tina!!
I hadn't realised that some other asclepiads flower in February while the Ceropegias are all hibernating
I like your choice of subject for the March competition, one that even I can enter with mugshots of my favourite plants. Yesterday I dusted off my camera to take photos for the Mesembs and Haworthia Robins that had just arrived. Hubby is getting a digital SLR as a retirement gift from work (last day 31st March), I'll commission him to take some photos. Watch out...

Ever hopeful, trying to grow plants from arid sunny climates in the UK!
Lithops, Haworthia, Adromischus, other south African succulents including Ceropegia and some Crassula.

I think any Larryleachia should win whatever competition.
So, what's the March topic about?
