A reminder that our Open Day for the National Collection of Aylostera, Rebutia and Weingartia (including Sulcorebutia) is on Saturday, 11th May, 2024, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Approximately 6,500 plants on show, many of which are in flower just now. Free entry, free teas and coffees, and there will be some plants available for sale.

Thanks all who came along to the Open Day yesterday. The sun shone all day!
41 people in all. I was so busy talking I forgot to have lunch, or take pictures. Here are a few Rebutias and Aylosteras from today.

Amazing
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs. Recently discovered gorgeous Gasteria.

Well done, Paul! 41 is pretty good, considering where you live.
If only I was a little closer.

Oh, what a display! How much longer do you expect the plants to be in flower, Paul?

They are not quite at peak yet Mat, probably peak next week or two, thereafter probably still lots of flowers into early June.
