Naureen Cole RIP

Post by topsy »

It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of Naureen Cole yesterday morning, 2nd July, and thank Ronnie Uijs for letting us know and Keith Green for forwarding the message.

Naureen was honoured by having Lithops naureeniae C304 named for her by Des Cole. They were such a good team and Des was lucky to meet Naureen and marry her, giving him a better chance of finding those Lithops as Naureen being deminutive, was nearer to the ground. They had the best of times to find those treasures and those times now are sadly gone.

A lovely lady, we remember you well.
