Well, the garden's tidy, faded labels have been rewritten, and a few things have been repotted. The embarrassing tray of mostly-dead Lithops seedlings is out of sight, a few dead Fraileas have been identified and thrown out, and the old Haworthia flower spikes have been chopped off. Even more impressively, perhaps, the floors have been swept!!
Look forward to seeing any of you who can make it tomorrow!

I would love to come and visit again tomorrow, who could resist all those dead plants hidden AND the swept floors? It's unlikely, but good luck and i hope lots of people come and visit, you are an inspiration.
I have said to our local group, 'We should do this too!'
We have a few members with some fantastic plants and I hope you know who you are and if Birmingham can do it, so can Macclesfield!

Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

Thanks, Liz! It seems to be a nice and fairly easy way of hosting a branch social, really.

I've put a slideshow of the few pictures I took up on the branch website. [The strikethrough on the date is an inside joke about me getting the date wrong and showing up a day early which is daft enough but to really top it off it was pouring rain and I was cycling].

Some great photographs, thanks Stephen, I will try and make the trip if you do this next year, it is a fantastic idea to have an open day (lots ands lots of hard work too, I am sure).
