Usual fortnightly or thereabouts watering Ralph. The other flowers are normal sized so not sure what's what

Some smaller than average but still nice, flowers. Crispata, Breviflora and Krahnii

Flowering this afternoon

I'll get a body shot once the flowers are over (it's a bit shrunken just now due to the flowers wicking moisture out of the plant.)
It's flowers (multiple layered petals) are different from any of my other plants, although it's possible I just don't pay enough attention !

What substrate is it growing in, out of interest?

I obtained this cutting from John Carr a couple of years ago. It's a new name for me and unfortunately I don't have any details of where he collected it. It's flowers are a bit unusual (and difficult to photograph due to their colour). They have multiple layered petals with a definite metallic hue!

I bought it from a grower in Poland a few years ago, along with a handful of other Pterocactus. This is the first time I've flowered it. I can propagate it up for anyone that's interested
