Aeonium Stigma receptive.
Seems like the first of Aeonium Tabuliforme x Zwartkop flowers are almost open. My question is when are the stigmas receptive of pollen? Is it when the flower is open? Seeing that Aeoniums are often self-fertile, would the stigmas be receptive when the pollen is mature? :???: Any thoughts and sugges...

A Zwartkop by Tabuliforme hybrid is very close to blooming. It's interesting how the flowers are a lot flatter, and how they are slightly pubescent.

It could be that the plant is getting too much light. Echinopsis tend to yellow in too much sun. I realize that it is winter, so this is probably unlikely.

There are xeric orchids. Most are from South Africa. There is the genus Eulophia.

Definitely a crassula multicava. Here are the flowers from Crassula Multicava. After they flower they produce a ton of bulbils.

well so around a year or two ago, I sowed aeonium 'zwartkop' seeds. 2 years later, and I have a 3" plant. Now that its our of dormancy it looks pretty normal. But when it gets stressed, it forms pink edges. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of it in the stressed stage. Also that zwartkop you see...
