I think many of us with smaller collections would, in principle, like to make big seed orders. However, substitutes make a lot of sense if you've either got a very tight budget, or are very tight for space. Or maybe don't have much spare time. A few people seem to rate Selenicereus.
Has anyone tried S. spinulosus as a stock? Seems like it would be extremely hardy - although it never seems to be offered for sale.
