Re: Hormone rooting powders - advice
Hi, I see this topic is quite old! Well I've been using the same pot of rooting powder for years and it more than likely way beyond it's sell by date, It's DOFF hormone rooting powder. I just think it helps the cut to callus over, whether it does still promote root growth I can't say, sometimes thin...

H,
Nice plant and flower, as you say the flower is not over the top, but has a beauty of it's own... One I'd add tto the collection.

I did have a problem with mealies last year but tried to keep them down with Meaths and a paint brush. I've not seen any for a time, except on th...

Hi,
Yes I had one some years ago, sure that only flowered once and later gave up. Had a couple since and tried with seeds, got plants but no flowers, so yours must be a Super-duper one..

Hi Stuart,
Yes your right on all counts, I forgot to mention the peat I did indeed try to get myself a piece, I did but lost most of the roots, but as you say it should be OK, drying it off a bit.
Regards

Plant ID please... And more
Hi, My youngest son (Not that young) as been buying a few Cacti from eBay it looks like the seller puts 3-5 seedings in a pot and grows them on (perhaps even thro the Winter), so the plants look like a nice big clump in a 6" pot. My son gave me the names and ask if I would like a cutting/offset...

Hi,
Count me in too! I have a few plants, not a lot of success but perhaps the group would help. I have also PM'd you.
Best wishes.
