Re: One for Tony or Stuart
I’ve been looking for g. thunbergii for a while. Was pleased to find a small plant on eBay recently. It has the concave leaves and is offsetting on a stolon so happy I’ve got the right plant!

Re: Where to buy half pots online...
I find the Soparco octagonal pots perfect for my plants. They are not easy to find so I have had to buy them by the case. I’ve got 12, 16 and 18cm pots ( I think those sizes are correct). The picture shows 16cm pots. The 12cm ones have a similar aspect ratio. The 18cm pots are a little deeper, but ...

Re: Winter growers and their requirements
Thanks all for the input, much appreciated. I Googled the book mentioned by Ralph, and as best I recall it is the only time I have ever done such a search and received no results whatsoever! So I think you were lucky to get a copy ianstrutt, well done! I doubt a letter to Santa is going to help me ...

Re: Winter growers and their requirements
Try to find a copy of Cultivation Table for Succulents by Frans Noltee It's hard to come by, but gives a very comprehensive list of what needs watering when, as well as other useful cultivation information. This sounds like exactly what I need. I hope I've just managed to purchase a copy through Ab...

Re: Pleiospilos bolusii
Thanks Aiko. I've given a very, very light watering but will now keep dry from now on. You can still splash every now and then when the soil is dry and the weather nice (enough). Maybe even well through December, if they are in a greenhouse and there is hardly any frost and still some sunshine on a...

Re: Updated seed lists
Some interesting bits and pieces there. I wasn't going to order any more seeds but had to at least try for some of those tylecodons.

Pleiospilos bolusii
Hi all, I’ve recently procured this old pleiospilos bolusii from a seller on eBay. Not a genus I’ve ever grown before so I was hoping to get a bit of advice. I’m happy with growing conos and assume this will require similar watering but just wanted to check I’m not doing anything egregiously wrong. ...

Re: Flowers for Succulentophiles
Lovely, Ralph.
I’ve been so close to throwing away the othonna tuberosa I got from you over the last couple of months because I was convinced it was dead. It’s just come into leaf in the last week or so. Glad I forgot about it!
