NOID Mammillaria - any ideas?

Just a dinky Wilko special that I bought in bud, to my delight the flowers are a gorgeous intense fuchsia colour! Llifle being down hasn't helped my attempts at identification and the plant may yet be too young, but my initial thought is M. zeilmanniana. Any ideas?

Re: Crassula arborescens not looking well

It looks thirsty to me, may need more regular watering. Don't worry too much about the leaf loss, when it perks up a bit it'll replace them fairly quickly in my experience.

Re: Gymnocalycium id

Got a very similar one as the original post from my local garden centre recently as well - probably the same batch of imports. I got to G. moserianium when I was attempting to ID it - more based on the similarity of appearance when I looked at recent wholesaler offers than any botanical rigor though!

Re: Cacti identification thread

I got one of the cacti with long yellow hooked spines from B&Q a while ago. My best guess was a young Ferocactus hamatacanthus v. flavispinus.

Re: Euro car parts (cat litter)

I bought some and it arrived at 9am the following day! Great service! Is it me though or does it smell a bit... funky when you moisten it?

Re: Provado new formulation

For what it's worth, I deal with mealies on my phalaenopsis orchids by cranking the boiler up to 50° then washing them and hanging them upside down for a few days to dry. Minimal to no damage. They do come back eventually but I have so many plants I expect the things are in the air at this point...!

Re: Echeveria & hybrid ID help

Great stuff, thank you! I'm glad I seem to have correctly identified at least some of them. The flowers are coming along on the Paychphytum/Pachyveria so I'll hopefully have a pic within the week. That site looks excellent, thank you for pointing it out to me. Going to get stuck in with researching ...
