Re: BCSS members selling on eBay
Hi,
I think that is a great idea as many buyers on EBay do not appear to be members.
I would certainly be prepared to enclose a leaflet with my EBay bought plants, if the BCSS was prepared to supply me with the leaflets.
Tony.

Re: 'Seed sowing compost'
Hi Val,
Thats interesting............how long would you keep the seedlings in the cat litter before you prick them out ?
Do you give any feed whilst growing in the litter ? What do you then pot them into ?

'Seed sowing compost'
I would like to start a debate on the various soils that people here in the UK use to sow seed in. I use a 50/50 mix of horticultural grade Vermiculite & J.I. Seed compost. This has done me well for the past 10 years, however I would be interested in hearing what other sowers find works for them...

Re: Ebay Echinopsis !
Hi Stephen, Yes, the starting price had to be set at that amount as my Supplier for this particular hybrid would not have released it to me, unless I started the bidding at that amount. Therefore, if I wanted to acquire this one I had to agree to this, as well as the high amount I had to pay to be a...

Re: Ebay Echinopsis !
Hi, I dont often look in on here, but thought I would join in to support Phil Whites reply on P & P charges. I dont think the general cacti buyers truelly know the real cost to the Nurseryman of the P & P costs and to blandly state they are OTT is a wild distortion of the truth. In regard to...

Re: Lithops could become addictive
Hi Phil, Just picked up this thread....I very rarely come here, but as you purchased these plants from me I think I can join in !! Cole 179 [ brunnea ] certainly does not look typical I agree, however this is how the seed was brought in as and how it germinated ! As for the 'Fullergreen & otzeni...
