I have always called it Schwartzkopf so it's good to know the correct name.
I have never had a flower. But I find that even leafless bits of stalk readily develop rosettes and roots. Alison, you could chop where possible so as not to lose your plant. And please post a photo of the flower!

Hi Tina, What an amazing space, I would wander about for hours just looking at everything. I also split genuses up and have them in groups of watering needs. Obesa are by the shallots at the moment :lol: well they are sort of succulent and like a weekly water. Opuntias are with the Conos and Lithops...

Seeds are slightly sticky like goose grass. Soak them for 24 hours before germinating (they go slimy) to soften the tough coat that protects them when being fired for yards. I used an upturned plastic cup, and they make you jump when they go off. You will never find the seeds if you don't catch them...
