My 2 year old seedlings are showing signs of getting a bit larger. Haworthias seem desperately slow from seed, compared to most things I grow.

Ian S. I think your A. euanthema is A. ritteri. (I once acquired a plant of A. ritteri as Rebutia euanthema v. andinensis). Here is a picture of a "proper" A. euanthema; it is labelled A. euanthema f. oculata, but apparently oculata is an older name for euanthema, so it really should be ca...

LF1725 is indeed from 6km S Inca Huasí 3010m. I think I also have the Heger & Alber one you are referring to, but this one has superior flowers in my opinion...

The Chinese also have quite a few things of this general kind. I quite fancy some of their L. arachnacantha hybrids.
