mealy/vine weevil treatment

A couple of questions. Firstly do people just treat their cacti/succulents every 10weeks/3months (I think thats how often the bottles say) without waiting to get any infestation ie preventativly? Also I have stopped watering now and will do with most plants until feb/march what do I do with my treat...

Its not me who is trying to deny my age. You should be proud to be old and wise ;-)

Brian - growing for 26 years makes you old, unless you started when you were 5

Re: Cold nights ahead?

Yes, I was hoping that they would just flatten Essex, maybe after that they could move onto Birmingham. Maybe they could have one of those BBC shows 'Britians ugliest town' and we could vote for a place to put the cycling track.

Re: Is veryone a 'specialist'?

I suspect with some of the collection sizes out there if they loved every species they would need a second home.

Is veryone a 'specialist'?

Most people on here seem to only talk about certain types of cactia. As you get older do you specialise more or did that happen from day one?
