The wife's lithops part 2
I got these for my wife earlier in the year and they are happily living on a south facing window with a net curtain between them & the window.
My questions to the lithops experts on here is; should they be putting on this new growth now? and what's the watering advice in this situation?

If you mean the Hydroleca granules? then Garden centres or Amazon etc..

Don't any of the cacti wizards on here have any ideas? Did the main stem grow at all this year? What's the growing point at the top like? My guess is that it has abandoned the main stem. Kind of shut it down. And is now concentrating all it's energy on the offsets. Wow Habanercot I believe you may ...

That's a fair guess Nick but no I haven't, although today it's been sprayed with systemic insecticide @ fungicide.

I keep a tub of Yellow Sulphur in my cacti room to put on wounds like the one in your picture as it helps stop fungal infections. (My cacti are all indoors) On the broken off segment using tweezers remove the spines from around it's base, put a light dusting of Sulphur on any wounds and leave it on ...
