There are at least two types of termites in Canada - wet wood and subterranean ones.

Even with truncatas & co. I noticed the roots started shrivelling a day or two after I took the cuttings. Do they need to stay moist all the time? I'll try to keep them on the more moist side and see. I’ve done it with truncata ones. Accidentally broken root was placed in a slightly wet compost...

I followed recommendation to let seed mature for 2-3 month before sowing and got about 70% germination rate. Beginners luck?

May I ask what lowest safe temperature would be?
I keep my outside if it’s above -4C at night but bring them in if it’s getting colder.
