Re: Rebutia and Aylostera flowers

I think this name basically exists in a grey zone.
If it was horticultural you would name it differently to if it was a wild plant.
Still regardless of the naming, it is a nice plant. I have seed of this plant and your photo is encouraging
me to put in a late sowing!

Re: Rebutia and Aylostera flowers

Nice!
I think krainziana is supposed to be of horticultural origin?
So it does not have to have a formal name for the different forms?

Re: Time for a celebration ....

Fortunately your plant's flowers will open without a lot of direct sun.

Re: Time for a celebration ....

Hopefully the classification is stable now but there might be a few surprises yet.

Most of my plants are two weeks ahead judging from your A. 'celebration' and A. hoffmannii.
My plants are just finishing their first flush of flowers.

Re: Tesco finest ( again)

Do you mean the Tesco moler clay cat litter? They stopped that a while ago.
Kittyfriend Pink Cat Litter seems to be the current one- but this is only available from some Pet stores for some reason.

Nice plant! Looks like it is wearing a warm winter coat ready for the summer.

Re: No complete ring of flowers, but still very pretty

Looks great. I'm starting to worry that those small seedlings I have will soon each grow into a very large plant.
Hopefully it'll take many years!
