Re: CactusWorld 2021 March
It's my first CactusWorld and I'm blown away by the quality of it. Haven't read it properly yet but have flicked through and taken in a few articles, it's absolutely brilliant. Loving the cultivation notes too, will have to get a binder for them! Really well done to all involved.

Re: Is this a goner?
Hi Suzanne, I bought this as a single stem a few years ago. It was an unlabelled garden centre plant I believe, as most of my current collection are. I've just had a root around and the three stems are definitely a single plant so I am a bit worried about the other two stems. Lack of feed could defi...

Re: Is this a goner?
Thanks Ralph, I'll give it a go, hopefully the top of the stem isn't too far gone for a cutting. Hi Tina, yes the bases of all three are skinny and corky, but I always just assumed it was a species thing since I don't seem to get it on my other cacti. Do you think it's possibly not liking being in f...

Re: Help with identification
Thanks Stuart, it's good to get a positive ID. I didn't realise until now that they hybridised between genera so easily, every day's a school day!

Re: Group planting haworthia
They look great planted like that, I'm quite tempted to do this with some of my plants. Where did you get the trays?

Is this a goner?
Hi all, I've got a Pilosocereus chrystostele (I think) that I've had for a few years. It's now got three decent stems on it, but unforunately the largest stem has developed some rot and black spots. It's on the same watering routine and in the same window that it has always been in so I'm not sure w...

Help with identification
Hello all, I'm after some help identifying a few plants. Fairly sure they're under the Aloe, Gasteria, Haworthia umbrella so hopefully this is the best place to ask. These are unlabelled and I'm struggling to find anything that fits the bill. The markings on the leaves are very subtly raised and the...

Re: Mr Straw's House Opuntia
Thanks Ed and Edward! I think you're right that the damage has been done by this point to be honest, but it's mostly the smaller succulents that have borne the brunt of it. We've got some transparent plastic in one of our sheds, so I'll fix up the holes in the greenhouse and open the door and vents ...
