Re: Offensive "Moderator" on Facebook.
I have not had a reply and I don't expect one. The person concerned posts very little and does not do a lot of admining, so unless we have a repeat performance, I don't intend to do any thing. He posted 17 minutes ago, 21 hours ago and 2 days ago. I am not sure how to check more than the last three...

Offensive "Moderator" on Facebook.
A new member of the Facebook BCSS group made a post yesterday about getting a new flower on her Huernia mccoyi and her delight in that flower. Her first post on the group. In it she referred to the Huernia as a cactus. Somebody who apparently has a position as a Moderator on the Facebook group then ...

Re: Importing seeds from the EU to the UK
Looking for something else I was surprised to find this dated January 2023. Have regulations changed since January and was this correct at the time? https://www.necps.org/bring-your-cactus-with-you-on-your-trip-to-the-uk-everything-you-need-to-know-about-taking-a-cactus-on-an-airplane/ That article...

Re: International Asclepiad Society Journals
I am a little concerned that there is no mention of the society having folded anywhere on their website. You can still pay a subscription for a year's membership through the webshop, it seems. Three years after they notified members that they were no more. The Facebook page appears to have vanished....

Re: Trying to find a book on cacti
From your description I wonder if it was Barthlott's book with the simple title "Cacti" published in 1979 - it is the only one I can think of that size and at the time quite widely available which covers a wider range of aspects of cacti than others. Hope that helps Keith And, if not, sea...
