Thanks for the help everyone.
I'm going to go with F. gracilis as I first suspected.
It's definitely not F. latispinus (central lower spine is much too thin) and I have several F. pilosus/F.stainesii plants that look nothing like it so I'm going to rule them out as well I think.

Can anyone help me ID this mystery Ferocactus?
Hello everyone. First post here, looking for an ID for this crazy coloured Ferocactus I got hold of. I was thinking F. gracilis but I'm not completely convinced on that. I've never seen one with such variation in the colour of the stem; I'm not sure if that is the result of stress from cold/sunlight...
