Yes, flowers of sulphur or a rooting powder (most "organic" ones are simple fungicides really). Ground cinnamon has no beneficial properties at all, I only found (and immediately lost the link of curse) a paper talking about highly concentrated extract that had some.

OMG, its like a 'SAW' movie with succulents, it doesn't look happy at the end. They don't like severe vine cut either or I'm too soft with mine, The description states that the plant was acquired in 1999, chopped (roots I assume) once in 2010 and again last year. Speaking about fitting, taking photographs of flowering Gasteria is such a pain (esp. on a kitchen wall, I need to build some DIY lightbox one day)!
