For what it’s worth, in the case of my fockea edulis I didn’t treat the cut with anything at all and repotted it almost straight away without even letting it dry.

He’s in California somewhere and has some stunning plants.

I nearly got the full ring as well. A cristate plant of zeilmanniana ‘new dawn’ from Southfields.

I’m sure I did see the one at the national show.

I’ve got two fockea edulis on the go currently. One I’m leaving to its own devices and one I’m trimming the roots every year to try and keep the main caudex a better shape. I’ll need about a decade before I know if it’s helping

Probably much more common but I’m really pleased I’ve managed to get seed from some pelargoniums this year.

Very cheeky I know, but if you find yourself with too many fockea seeds I’d love to have a go at growing some myself.

Might chuck the plant in a bag then! This one was hanging on to the seed pod for dear life.
