Rebutia and Aylostera flowers

(I have the yellow, orange and 'red' form too so f.aureiflora and f.rubriflora...

Many plants will offset when young and then stop when they get larger. If there's damage it can trigger more offsetting (see videos about slicing plants on half!). Not aware that 'standard' v-r is being tissue cultured. Would have thought they would have grown most from seed and saved TC work for va...

It might be worth trying them outside with a rain shelter. Mine is planted in the ground in Nottingham and doing well so far! My friend has one in a half barrel outside that hasn't been covered for the last few years.

That’s what the label says and it does look like other plants I have with that name.

Don't recognise the handwriting but lovely flowers. Is it S.canigueralii?
